As we approach the fourth Sunday of Advent our hearts turn toward love.
Love is essential. We wither without it.
I am uncertain about many things but on this I am sure.
We are loved. And in this season of Christmas we remember that Love came.
I wrote a simple poem as I pondered these things, for this weeks reflection.
Love
Love hopes.
Without giving up.
Love transcends
boundaries
differences.
Pure love
gives without expectation;
sees without judging;
listens without interrupting,
with an open heart.
When we love . . .
and are loved –
We experience peace.
We know Joy.
Loved by the Creator.
Who came to be one of us.
Love is the greatest.
Gift of all.

Love came down
