We’ve just returned from a lovely two week break to sunny skies and desert landscapes. It was wonderful to go, and also great to be home again.
Thosw who know me know that I’m not the greatest traveller, and if I let my anxiety take root, I wouldn’t go at all. I’ve learned to be an over comer, admiring those for whom travelling is a breeze, an adventure. I’m just always super thankful to arrive at our destination, and it is almost always worth it.

Between Superior and Globe
We enjoyed the desert immensely. Driving between Superior and Globe Arizona is a breathtaking vista of rock and formations with highway carved between. I couldn’t stop taking pictures, even though we were moving, so I snapped as we drove, enjoying the sights.
Today we drove to Kelowna and back from Vernon, and again I was wowed by the sights. It had snowed, but the light was reflecting on the lake, the reflection on Kalamalka Lake was incredible. Again we couldn’t stop so I just tried to capture it through my car window. And pictures don’t really capture the beauty.

From blue skies, cactus country to snow in one day. Truly it is amazing what we are able to experience with the miracle of travel. The world is a beautiful place.
It is freeing to be able to travel again after the Pandemic. We don’t take things so for granted anymore.
And I’m glad to write this little blog today, last week the website was down, so if you do follow my ramblings week after week, I’m glad to have it working again.
