There are ups and downs in life.
Some of my sunflowers are way up, so fun.
Yesterday I fell down in the garden, careless for a moment and down I went.
It reminded me of that funny story where you know you are getting old when you fall, and the immediate response is “are you ok?” versus when you are younger you just laugh it off. Thankfully I am ok, just a few cuts, no broken bones. It is a good reminder to pay attention!
Welcome to my front porch
So I welcome you to my space this week. My front door plants have been fun, blending into each other to create a happy welcome. Sunflowers are everywhere, it doesn’t seem so long ago I planted their seeds, envisioning what it might look like.
The pic of me isn’t the greatest, but the sunflower we removed was bigger than my head. I had to get my hubby to help me with that one!

So much to be thankful for. Soon we will be putting the garden to bed, as things wither and the cycle of life continues.
