I love the thought and truth that a heart of thanksgiving is a gateway to joy. It can be very easy to get bogged down with the struggles of life: family concerns, sickness, financial challenges, feeling down.
But there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for.
Thanksgiving blessings
Im thankful for my family. For my sweet husband, our kids and their partners, our beautiful grandchildren. I’m thankful for my amazing siblings, and my dear dad who has had a rough year but keeps keeping on.
I’m so thankful for my dear friends.
I’m thankful for sunshine, and bounty, and fields of pumpkins and buckets of crisp apples.
Im so thankful for my faith, it is a sure foundation.
It was so fun to “play” with 11 other women this week, as we created autumn pictures together. They were amazing.
Every day is a day to give thanks, and the lists would be endless, pure and simple, as the sun streaming through the window and warming my face as I write this. A gift.
